Hi there,

Portrait by Myah Jeffers

I’m a London-based zine-maker and facilitator, bringing the joy of zine-making to brands and people through workshops, content and editorial design. I champion the power of zine culture as a radical tool of expression and design workshops centred around embodied play; facilitating warm, joyful and accessible spaces for collective making.

Inspired by the history of zines - DIY culture, the 90s Riot Grrrl movement, independent magazines of the Harlem Renaissance - I advocate for the importance of physical media and the revolutionary potential that zines have to produce and archive counter culture.

An image of a group of women sitting around a large table in a room with paintings on the walls. There's a woman standing at the head of the table, hosting the workshop.

In 2017, I founded sweet-thang zine, a community and indie press publishing work by Black creatives worldwide. Entirely volunteer-run and majority self-funded, we’ve published nearly 200 artists and writers in our annual print issues, which have been stocked across Europe and the US. Our mission is to curate an alternative publishing platform that nurtures and champions Black artistry and uses art as a portal for reimagining new worlds. Sweet-thang has been covered in the likes of It’s Nice That, gal-dem and INDIE magazine.

I also work with organisations to bring their projects to life in print. Want to celebrate the launch of your project or campaign in print form? My visual language is bold, vibrant and accessible. I design publications that humanise projects in the social impact, charity and heritage sectors, infusing a hand-made feel into digital design. (See my portfolio for examples)

Whether it’s for your team, talent or community, my vision is for creative and compassionate souls to express themselves and find belonging through the art of zine-making.

Let's work together
